Hello and warm holiday greetings to all! This past year has been filled with changes, and for all of us at Henne Jewelers, one of these changes has highlighted what truly matters most in life, faith and family. Third generation owner John “Jack” Henne passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2022.

In the weeks that followed, the Henne family was surrounded by countless people who remembered his wisdom, humility, humor and genuine love for all people. A customer speaking at the funeral reception said, “The world needs more men like Jack Henne.”

Jack ran the family business every day believing that the jewelry and watches we sell mean so much more than their monetary value. They are mementos we give to one another and pass down as a reflection of our love.

Henne Jewelers grew and evolved under Jack’s leadership, including our initial move to Shadyside. Since then, we’ve been blessed to continue to grow and expand, ultimately resulting in a move to our current location.

After twenty years, we have decided that it is time for another change at Henne Jewelers. Always looking to improve and provide the best shopping experience for our customers, we have decided to expand our current location. Construction is already under way and will conclude in November 2023. John and our team have spent much of this year working with architects, engineers planning for the expansion.

In January 2023, the Henne Jewelers entrance will shift to Bellefonte Street. We intend to operate as normally as possible in this temporary space, remaining open through the duration of the expansion. We are so excited for the expansion and how it will benefit our customers.
