PANTONE'S 2024 Color of the Year – Peach Fuzz

Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year is ‘Peach Fuzz’. The cute name aside, it’s a beautiful fusion of pink and orange. Some shades of coral may fit the bill – especially with oceanic influences being a notable jewelry trend this year. Otherwise, look for peach-tone enamel jewelry or gemstone jewelry. Tourmaline, sapphire, and topaz come in many shades, including a variety of oranges, pinks, and ‘peach’.

A perfect example is our Henne Exclusive Jon Anderson pendant, featuring a peachish oval topaz set in 18K yellow gold and accented with a bezel-set diamond accent.

Lariat & Y-Necklaces

Lariat necklaces and Y-necklaces have taken center stage, adding a bit of flair and drama to an everyday look. Choose a simple drop chain with a bezel-diamond accent, a paperclip chain style, add a pop of color with emerald or turquoise, or make a statement with a diamond-studded lariat.

Here are a few of our staff pick lariat and y-necklaces.

STILL ON TREND: STATEMENT EARRINGS

At Henne Jewelers we are loving the trend of statement earrings. From extra long paperclip dangle earrings to fringe drops and colorful gemstones, these earrings call attention to the graceful curve of her neck – and of course her beautiful face.

mixed materials, texture & sizable jewelry

Chunky chains and maximalist jewelry have been popular for a few years. This year we’ll see this trend continue, but with a few slight variations. Look for jewelry with mixed metals and mixed materials, sculpted shapes, satin and hammered finishes, and metalwork detail. The pieces may be simple with their lack of gemstones, but there is beauty in their artistry.

NOW TRENDING: PEARL JEWELRY

Thanks to celebrities donning them on the red carpet, pearls have more lustre than ever.
These aren’t your grandmother’s pearls, however – although you can never go wrong with a strand of pearls.

Try a lariat necklace with a pearl drop, a long strand of Tahitian or baroque pearls, paperclip dangle earrings, a bypass bangle, or a Toi et Moi ring with diamonds and pearls.

Boho chic vibes: trending bead jewelry

With the rising cost of gold and Boho chic popularity, luxury beaded jewelry has become increasingly popular. Henne’s own Exclusively by Nina collection has a wide selection of rondel necklaces, beaded lariats, long strands of turquoise beads, and more. Another popular designer, Anne Sportun, crafts bead wrap bracelets/necklaces in dozens of gemstones – great to layer or wear with a flowy shirt or dress.

NOW TRENDING: BROOCHES

Vintage lovers will delight in a renewed admiration for brooches. Fasten to the lapel of a blazer or a jacket or dress up a sweater, and bring back to life the beauty of the Art Deco, Edwardian, and even Georgian eras.

At Henne Jewelers our Estate & Vintage Jewelry collection always has a lovely collection of brooches from different jewelry periods.

COLORED DIAMOND JEWELRY

In 2023 we saw jewelry wearers embrace their love of color, from enamel to colored gemstones. This year we are seeing more colored diamond pieces. Fancy colored diamonds are beautiful in statement rings and even engagement rings, while champagne and cognac diamonds are soft and elegant.

We are seeing more customers asking for a wedding band with some color. Black diamonds offer a striking contrast when set in rose gold, and black diamond tennis bracelets are a unique twist on a classic jewelry essential.
