Congrats to Nick and Cara on their engagement!
How they met: Cara and Nick met in high school and were always in the same friend groups throughout. Fast forward several years and they both ended up at Kent State together as the same major. Nick and Cara love that their relationship is built off of their initial friendship and admiration for each other.
The Big Moment: Cara and Nick love a good adventure or visiting a new place. Nick planned a weekend away to Hocking Hills and they spent the weekend hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Nick popped the question at one of the waterfalls - he says the first things Cara said were “finally!” and “Thank God!”. Almost seven years together later and they could not be more excited for their future together.
Future plans: Nick and Cara will get married on June 29, 2024 at the Energy Innovation Center. They are excited for a summer wedding with a “modern classic” vibe! They are very excited for their future together but are enjoying their engagement and every moment along the way. They look forward to traveling many new places together - they can’t sit still for long!
Kudos to Alyssa Vanston Photography on capturing these sweet photos!
Why Henne?
A lifelong friend of Cara & Nick’s recommended looking at Henne for rings, so they met with Meghan together. She made them both feel comfortable and at ease that their work was top-knotch quality. From start to finish, Meghan was fantastic. She is knowledgeable and patient. They can’t wait to come back for wedding bands!
Cara's ring is an elegant 14K yellow gold mounting by Classique Creations with side diamonds and a beautiful oval-cut diamond as the focal point.
